Almost all snake alarms had been a pin code of factory pre-configured for security reasons divulgar.Isto'm not here to say that so far, and knowing a little of all of us do not like to read manuals, most alarms installed have the original pin code, so it is quite easy to know who turn off the alarm.

I do not want to alarm anyone with this but can if they want to customize your pin code so that only someone who knows you can disable the alarm.

pin-code-card.jpg

How to change the pin code of your vehicle alarm

- Open the driver's door.

- Turn on the ignition.

- Simultaneously press the emergency button and the button "A" command until the vehicle's turn signals light up.

- Press the LED the number of times you want for the first digit pin code (the digit 0 is not valid). The LED flashes each time the press, one long flash indicates that it can move to the digit seguinte.Proceda Similarly for the remaining 3 digits.

- Turn off the ignition after intoducção the fourth digit.

- Repeat the above procedure (with the same digit).

- If the code is repeated correctly the system will memorize lo.A confirmation will be given by three flashes of the direction indicators (flashers) and the led.

To exit the program just close the driver's door.

All the programming procedures only work if the alarm is connected properly, especially the doors and hood switch, although this last is not necessary to customize your pin code of the alarm.

This procedure is not valid for the new models alarm charges . The new models have a different code for each alarm and should be given a card with their pin code to the user of the vehicle.

Customize your pin code alarm charge for greater safety of your vehicle.

Good,
I have my snake is a year old! I've never needed to put the Pin Code , at that time was given to me by the electrician that I set up the alarm in a Passat Limousine! It turns out that now can not recollect the sequence to get, hence calling for the favor that if there was any chance of telling me what to do to change the PIN, without having to get the old PIN.

Good night

I have a snake in my car alarm and it has the button next to the LED.

I changed the pin code in 2006 but I confess that I've forgotten ... is there any way to reset and get back to the factory code, overriding the code that I introduced and which I can not remember.

Regards,

CCS

bought cobra car alarm and do not know the secret codes:::
can you help me?

admin August 18th 2009 at 7:35 pm

It depends on the type of alarm that is installed in your car, anyway, for security does not disclose the PIN code for the factory alarm charges.

CCS says in August 19th 2009 at 11:42 am

The default PIN is the manual if I remember correctly, that's how I changed my pin is so boring now ... I do not remember the same ... I think I'll take to make DEALERS to see if a reset or something of the sort ...

By the way, when buying the car I asked opel to install the alarm and they did not provide the command of the snake, are not even required to do so and took the key brand to serve as a command?

admin August 19th 2009 at 7:52 pm

Probably does not come, you must have been transmitted by the installer. (See mail)

The type of alarm you have installed on your car should be a 3868 and therefore has no control, central locking takes signals and hazard lights to trigger the alarm.

Good Afternoon,
This pin code there where?
They do not receive anything from the stand, if he has not pin what should I do?

admin December 12th 2009 at 6:41 pm

It is usually given a card with Pin Code.
If the siren / module for the alarm still have the sticker with no series alarm is possible to order the Pin Code will manufacture and program a command again, if not, you have to buy a new module in a mode of recovery of the old and buy number of commands you want.

Good ..

The thing is, I acquired a used vehicle that comes with the alarm cobra 3310 .. yet I have the original command-key but this does not work, perhaps because they deprogram or something, I put new battery and it gives you not only open the car must be deprogrammed, so the former owner has put the other commands to work of the same original key ..

the problem is that I do not have the pin code from that alarm, and as much as we do not want to program the key with you for not having the pin ..

If I could clarify this thanks, and if I respond to email even better ..

Good night
From what I understand you want to place the original remote to operate the vehicle, this command can only be configured by the representative of the brand (what?).
The alarm pin code does nothing to something else other than entering the programming functions and commands new alarm.

The green wires disconnect from the pump.
Normally, if everything is well connected should not interrupt the connection.
I do not know who has the alarm but found the wires in the wiring.

Good morning,

I recently bought a second hand VW Polo. This Polo has a Cobra 7777 alarm installed. The problem is that the car only came with a key and a command. The key, I managed to duplicate, but the command does not alarm.

I've read some things here on the blog, but not dispel my doubts. I've been seeing in the papers of the car and found a book of the alarm, not con found the pin code.

I'm from Braga. Where and how do I go to resolve the situation?

Good afternoon,

I am one of many who bought a car with a Cobra alarm but does not have the PIN ... : (

I have the car (Golf4) to have a few years without any problem in alarm (3995).

Now I have lost one of the commands (I still have a functional) and wanted to buy a new one, but without the PIN seems to me that it's not worth it not to program ...

The NP is the central 5B3995A1A (ORD: 118,986).

It is possible to know the PIN of origin (assuming that the previous owner was not changed)?

Thanks already,
