Commands unique self-learning

For the control of the car's original, in addition to open and close the doors also triggering the alarm, you must perform a self-learning of the activation signal / desactivação.Embora this operation is usually performed only once (when mounting alarm), it is possible that factors such as changing the car battery or any other commands that can prevent your vehicle's original work properly.

Before describing the steps required is reprogramming the original commands, call attention to the fact that you can only do this if the alarm is properly connected, and in particular wireless connection to the hood and door switches.

Entry into programming and self-learning of key command

The following conditions are required to memorize (or rememorizar) commands to the original distance of the vehicle:

-Alarm system off.
-Door and hood open.
Ignition-linked (without engine running).

-Enter the pin code , you can see how to enter the code here .
If all conditions are complied with the LED lights up and after about 3 sec the system responds with a signal of the direction indicators (blinkers), noting that entered the program.

-Disconnect and reconnect the ignition.
The direction indicators will flash twice to confirm that the table is the base functions of the alarm system.

-Press the LED inside to activate the self-learning.
A flashing LED confirms the over activation.

-Close the door and turn off the ignition.
The LED will blink rapidly to indicate it is ready to receive the activation signal.

-Press the closing doors of your original remote so that they are close.
The LED lights steadily for 2sec confirming that learning took place this sign.
Then a slow flashing indicates that the system is again ready to record the signal off.

Push-button door opening of your original remote.
The LED will turn off the alarm and a flashing of turn indicators confirm that the operation was successful.

Test your command key documents confirming the closing / opening and simultaneous on / off the alarm.

These steps are only valid for Alarm Cobra 3868 and should only be made in case of malfunction of the original commands in relation to the alarm, not the closing of doors, in this case should be checked by the dealer concerned.

I have a 1994 volvo 850 alarm cobra (n n model because I know I have the same match any document) and command volvo original.
I bought the car second hand and at the time the alarm was turned off (even thought initially that the alarm was not working) After changing the battery I found that by pressing the button to open the car doors and press more than 2 sec central locking closed the whole car and the alarm was activated.
